Eucumbene Lakeview Cottages

Kyloe Cottage and Yens Cottage are 2 bedroom 1 bathroom self contained accommodation. The cottages have expansive views over Lake Eucumbene and are set on 5 acres.

Situated only 5kms from Adaminaby and 2kms from Old Adaminaby.

Eucumbene Lakeview Cottages are an ideal accommodation base for trout fishing or water sports on Lake Eucumbene, exploring Kosciuszko National Park, winter snow sports at Selwyn Snow Resort, or for visiting the Snowy Hydro Scheme and the Snowy Scheme Museum.

Kyloe Cottage is named after Kyloe copper mine, which was located at the foot of Mount Cobrabald which is directly across Lake Eucumbene. The mine operated until 1913, remnants of building and the pit still remain. The word “kyloe” means cattle in the Scottish Gaelic language.

Yens Cottage aspect is towards Yens Bay, a renowned fly fishing spot. The Yens (or Yans) were early store holders during the Kiandra Gold Rush days. In later years the family had land holdings near Yens Bay. The Old Adaminaby pioneer cemetery is also located on the southern edge of Yens Bay.
